General Description of the Events
The Access MBA One-to-One is a targeted event focused on high quality, personalised services for MBA candidates. This event gives qualified and motivated professionals the opportunity to meet personally or in small groups with top internationally accredited business schools. Ongoing MBA, GMAT, TOEFL and Career counselling help candidates with general MBA and career issues as well as orient them towards the schools and opportunities of interest at the event.
Why Register Online?
Registered candidates receive priority in the one-to-one meetings with the school admissions officers, and are given the opportunity to schedule these appointments in advance for your convenience. Advanced bookings are available through any Access MBA Consultant by phone or email, along with extensive program information about the schools to help orient you and make your choices easier. Pre-booking and orientation from the Access MBA Team is not mandatory to attend the event, and non-registered candidates may access all of these services directly on site the day of the event. Some of our events include an open forum (Paris, London, St Petersburg, Sofia, Abu Dhabi, Lisbon)
Can Everyone Come to the Event?
The audience for this event is usually experienced business executives and managers, holders of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and fluent in English. However, any candidate wishing to do an MBA is most welcome to come and benefit from the personalised MBA orientation services and attending conferences , workshops or the forum when it is held. The One-to-One meetings are dedicated only to invited candidates who meet schools admissions criteria.
Which Schools are Participating?
The ACCESS MBA Tour represents about 100 prestigious business schools, accredited and ranked internationally. Among them, 70% of the Top 100 MBA and some of the best American MBA programs are attending the events. A detailed list of participating schools and program information can be given to candidates upon registration.
The One-to-One Format
Founder of the One-to-One service, since 2004 the ACCESS MBA Tour has been giving candidates a new way of meeting business schools: a personal, private meeting with the admissions directors. In the words of one former ACCESS MBA participant, ACCESS MBA gives people "Unique opportunity to decide before going further in the application process.” Business schools and candidates meet personally in a series of meetings based on candidate interest and school admissions criteria (i.e. work experience, level of motivation, country of interest for studying, program format, etc.). Participating candidates can meet all programs that they are interested in, with priority given to the top 5 schools per candidate for which they satisfy the basic admissions criteria. Each meeting lasts 20 to 25 minutes.
The Workshops
Interactive discussion panel taking place at a round table between business schools representatives and up to 10 candidates per school. Those informal & open discussions make the workshops a great opportunity to learn more about specific MBA programs.
Which Service to Choose from?
At our events, there is a format for every kind of candidate:
- If you are a “first step” candidate, discuss your project with ACCESS MBA Consultants, MBA Career Counsellors, and with GMAT/ TOEFL preparation centers. Attend conferences, workshops or forum and read school brochures, and gain all of the general information you need to help set you on your way to finding the MBA that is right for your career.
- If you are already informed about the MBA and know which type of MBA program you are targeting, head straight towards one to one meetings with the schools that match your interests. Discuss your career path with professional Career Counsellor’s to learn how to use your MBA to your best advantage in boosting your career.
