Based in Athens, ALBA Graduate Business School is an established european educational organization that offers graduate studies in business administration. Founded in 1992, it is a non-state, not-for-profit, research-driven institution.
ALBA Graduate Business School is an association of corporations, numbering 68 corporate members (Summer 2007). The School’s resident and visiting faculty is drawn from established Business Schools around the world and is composed of leading, widely-published academics and practitioners with extensive teaching, research and consulting experience. In March 2007 all 5 MBA programs offered by ALBA Graduate Business School were accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA).
Program Focus and Characteristics
As the School’s flagship program, the ALBA Full Time MBA has one key objective: to equip leaders with the advanced management skills and perspectives that they need in order to successfully resolve the most demanding business challenges. This is achieved through an intensive 12-month curriculum that encompasses a comprehensive range of courses that cover all fundamental management issues.
Students come from diverse geographic as well as academic backgrounds, with the clear aim to advance their career or change career paths. Over 30% of the ALBA Full Time MBA student community consists of nationals of developed as well as developing markets, such as the United States of America, United Kingdom, South Africa, Cyprus, Serbia, Bulgaria, FYROM - among them, holders of first degrees in fields such as Engineering, Science, Economics, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Humanities or Liberal Arts.
The program is specifically designed for individuals with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
