ALBA Graduate Business School at The American College of Greece was founded in 1992 and operates under the auspices of the business community, an association of corporations and institutional organizations, currently numbering more than 90 members. ΑLΒΑ strives for excellence, quality and continuous innovation in research and teaching.
ALBA offers the following academic programs, most of which are internationally accredited by AMBA or EFMD.
MBA Programs
Executive MBA
The Executive MBA is designed for accomplished managers of at least 10 years of work experience, a significant part of which has involved profit and loss responsibility and leading teams. It is a modular program offered every second weekend for 18 months.

As a student of The ALBA MBA Program you will develop not only your skills and competencies but also your perspective on the world. Business is facing complex challenges, demanding not just sound and timely decisions, but, primarily, managerial judgment in taking a holistic view on business and social problems, and the ability to mobilize others in order to make a difference.

By taking a strategic perspective on the shipping industry, the MBA in Shipping Program prepares aspiring and seasoned shipping professionals for a future full of challenges in the shipping industry.
Through a combination of academic rigor with practical knowledge, the ALBA MBA in Shipping program provides students with the ability to make sound and timely decisions and to cope under pressure in the rapidly changing shipping environment. More than that, the program invests heavily in leadership and strategic management competencies, which are particularly relevant both as personal advantages and as essential resources for companies in this sector.

The ALBA Career Office provides world class support to students and alumni. Through personal coaching, more than 10 focused workshops, career panels, job shadowing, internships and countless company visits, students get prepared to seek the best jobs internationally. The annual Career Forum attracts more than 110 recruiters and is the ground for more than 1500 interviews in less than a week. ALBA subscribes and offers to students and alumni all major international recruitment/placement services.
In addition to its academic programs, ALBA offers high-quality executive education in order to meet the needs of large domestic and international corporate clients. These programs range from open enrollment seminars to customized solutions. More than 11000 executives have attended Executive Development Programs at ALBA.
In October 2011, The American College of Greece (ACG) and ALBA Graduate Business School (ALBA) officially announced their strategic alliance that will lead to the creation of a top international educational institution in Greece. This alliance will set new standards in higher education and will become a catalyst for positive change in Greek society and beyond.
ALBA is a not-for-profit educational association and operates as a Centre of Post-Secondary Education Center (KEME) under the provisions of Law 3848/2010.
