Asia School of Business - Malaysia - Global MBA
MIT Sloan and Bank Negara (the Central Bank of Malaysia) have collaborated to launch Asia School of Business (ASB) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The flagship program is an 18-month full-time MBA program, which targets extraordinary and unconventional MBA candidates that will benefit from combining the rigor of MIT Sloan with exposure to the exciting business environment in Asia.
ASB: The Future of Management Education:
Asia School of Business is on a mission to disrupt the traditional business school paradigm and is applying a fresh, innovative and entrepreneurial approach to business education. We strongly believe that the next generation of transformative leaders for the emerging world will be developed on the basis of combiningg theories found in the top global universities with experience gained from Action Learning.
ASB's general management MBA blends theory and practice at every level. MIT Sloan faculty will teach the same rigorous core curriculum at ASB that is delivered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. Additionally, ASB's curriculum will include Action Learning projects with our corporate partners and institutional partners throughout Asia, providing ongoing opportunities to test and apply the theories of the classroom in a broad range of organizational, institutional and field challenges.
Key highlights of the Asia School of Business MBA program include:
- A core curriculum taught by MIT Sloan faculty and ASB resident faculty at our state-of-the–art campus in the heart of Kuala Lumpur
- A Concept-based Action Learning curriculum that includes a series of projects with corporations, institutions, and entrepreneurial enterprises from across Southeast Asia
- An emphasis on graduate employability that builds on developing capabilities in business analytics, leadership, teamwork, and communications, as well as innovation and a bias for entrepreneurial action
- A four-week residential program on the MIT Sloan campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, in combination with a two-week international “industry trek”
An ASB education puts you in a position to experience exponential growth — academically, personally, and professionally. More than that, the MBA program at ASB will build your confidence as a leader and an agent of change, putting you on a path to accomplish your career goals and aspirations.
The ASB Admissions team travels around the globe looking for smart, energetic, curious, and talented individuals who are excited to be part of an innovative MBA program and whose presence will enhance the experience of their MBA classmates. We are excited to hear from you!
