One Year, One Amazing Career Move

Founded in 1907, HEC Montréal quickly became one of the top locations for management training and research in Canada. Today, our students enjoy an ultra-modern building, inaugurated in 1996. The School’s faculty numbers 250 professors and 400 lecturers trained at the world’s leading universities. HEC Montréal has some 12,000 students, close to 25% of whom come from outside Quebec. The School offers 35 management programs, from BBA to PhD. HEC Montreal was the first management school in North America to hold the three most prestigious certifications in the world in management teaching: AACSB International (US), EQUIS (Europe) and the Association of MBAs (AMBA) in the United Kingdom.

The curriculum structure, teaching approach and course content ensure that the MBA accurately reflects the cross-functionality of management. Teaching is multidisciplinary and follows an approach that is more theme-oriented than functional, so that students develop a broad and accurate vision of managerial roles as well as strong problem solving skills.

Offered in English or in French, this MBA comprises four phases: The role of the manager and business fundamentals, Management of operational and strategic issues, Acquiring a Distinctive Skill and finally, Corporate social and environmental responsibility
