HEM Business School – Institut des Hautes Etudes de Management (Institute of Higher Education in Management)- is a private Moroccan business school, recognized on May 24th, 1988 by the Ministry of National Education, as per decree # 28/88, as a higher education, training and research institute. In 2013, IFC (International Finance Corporation), a member of the WORLD BANK Group, invested in HEM and became its institutional shareholder.
This strategic partnership is a direct IFC investment in HEM to support the expansion plans of the Group. IFC’s equity investment in HEM marks its first direct involvement with the education sector in Morocco. Over three decades of existence, HEM Business School has thus built a model based on strong values and relevant to our country's social and economic realities. The HEM Business School model is a pure product of Moroccan skills and yet is open to the world though renowned partnerships. Besides the fruitful cooperation that ties HEM Business School with the University of Paris Dauphine since 1992, HEM Business School is proud to welcome this year the 15th class of participants offering them both a General Management MBA along with International Paris MBA (MBA IP) which is awarded by the University of Paris Dauphine and IAE of University of Paris 1 - Sorbonne.
Programme InfoType of Course: The program runs for 18 months and includes 12 modules, which is a total of 420 hours (excluding project evaluations and professional project). Only senior professors from each institution facilitate the MBA program courses and in order to cover both national and international business cases and course material, they are organized in a dual co-animation of both a professor from HEM Business School and a professor from one of the two partner institutions. In order to adapt to the professional constraints of participants, classes are part-time and take place three week-ends out of four per month; on Friday evening (5 p.m. to 10 p.m.) and Saturday (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.) where the lunch on Saturday and coffee breaks are offered on site at HEM’s Conference Center l’Agora). Accreditation: We’re pleased to mention that the University Paris Dauphine received the renown international quality accreditation EQUIS back in 2010. AdmissionThe program is aimed at high-potential executives wishing to give a strategic dimension to their career, with a minimum of a high school diplôma + 4 years of a bachelors’ degree (engineers, lawyers, scientists, university graduates ...) and significant professional experience. There is no need for prior management experience. Candidates are selected on the basis of the following three components:
- A candidate application approval processing
- A written test
- An Oral interview : the jury assesses the candidate's motivations and professional skills as well as their general, economic and managerial knowledge.
