School Profiles
“IESE not only gives you the tools to become better professionally; IESE also challenges you to become a better, more responsible business leader. The human dimension is embedded into the culture of the school. This is a huge plus for me about the program. I haven’t encountered this in any other business school,” says Luis Bakker, VP and Board Member of Pronaca, the largest commercial food producer and largest private employer in Ecuador with over 7,000 employees. IESE is a business school of extraordinary global reach. While many IESE programs are held on the school’s two international campuses in Barcelona and Madrid, others take place at various global locations throughout Europe, as well as Asia, Africa, Latin America and the United States.
The Global Executive MBA Experience
The Global Executive MBA provides the tools for experienced executives who not only want to stay ahead of the game, but who aspire to grow and be more both professionally and personally. You’ll acquire the additional skills needed to succeed in today’s increasingly competitive business environment, in an international setting with global peers. It combines the rigors of a top full-time MBA program with the flexibility of a part-time format. Offered in two different modular formats (Monthly or Bimonthly), the program is compatible with personal and professional obligations. Modules revolve around Residential Sessions (either 1 week a month or 2 weeks every 2 months), which are reinforced with Distributed Learning via IESE’s Global Campus Platform. The tools and ideas acquired in class can be applied directly to the workplace, assuring relevance and immediate benefit to both participants and their companies. As a result of our program, you will:
- Gain effective management skills and business expertise
- Acquire a multi-disciplinary global vision
- Practice cross-cultural teamworking skills
- Develop responsible leadership capabilities
- Foster a people-focused work ethic
- Act with greater confidence, personally and professionally
