The Magellan MBA
The Magellan MBA attracts fast-tracking professionals with minimum 3 to 4 years of work history as well as experienced professionals in their thirties who are ready to further develop their managerial competences. Equal attention is given to hard skills and soft skills’ issues that are addressed throughout the program. After the core courses, the students can choose a specialization; the offer includes Marketing, Operations, Finance & Accounting and Organizational Development. In the final term the students apply their knowledge to a professional internship, special new business project or an entrepreneurial program (CoHiTec) to integrate the different subjects addressed during the program. This approach is possible thanks to the EGP-UPBS teaching methods and the faculty’s credentials. The Magellan teachers hold advanced degrees from American, Latin American and European schools. They also posses direct managerial or consulting experiences that enable a highly practical approach in teaching.
The Magellan MBA is a full time program with an emphasis on general management and extensive hands-on approach to the current business issues. The small class size (about 30 students) allows for personalized attention given to each student by the faculty, career development staff and coaches.
