Founded in 1928, Reims Management School (France), EQUIS, AMBA accredited and AACSB eligible, is one of the top-ranked French "Grandes Ecoles", located in the famous Champagne region, 45 minutes from Paris with the TGV East. The International MBA programme created in 1972, taught in English, is designed to be a fast track to global business management. In the 2008/2009 class, 80% of the students are from foreign countries (36% from Europe) and the average age is 30 years old.
The 1st semester (October-March): 14 core courses stress fundamental management concepts (finance, marketing, HR management, strategy, organisational behaviour, international business law & ethics,
).
The 2nd semester (March-June) offers a large range of electives in France or abroad based on a system of free-choice curriculum with 4 optional concentrations: Finance, Marketing, Management, Wine & luxury management. Mandatory for all the students: the Business Plan can be completed by an optional internship. Part of courses are available with our partner universities: Nottingham University (UK), Escuela de Negocios Seville & Madrid (Spain), Tsinghua University (China), Egade Tec de Monterrey (Mexico), Florida International University and Fairleigh Dickinson University (USA), Stellenbosch University (South Africa).
The Executive MBA is a part-time curriculum running on an 18-month basis and geared towards executives and managers. The 15 intensive 3-day seminars, taught in English, prepare participants to deal efficiently with managing customer satisfaction and developing strategic thinking. The seminars are complemented by 3 study weeks held abroad. In 2008, the study trips were organized in South Africa, the USA and China in association with partner universities. Completed by a Business Plan, the Executive MBA programme is designed to achieve excellence in strategic management. For the 2008-2009 class, the average professional experience is 12 years and the average age is 38 years old.
Career guidance services have been specially designed to assist MBA students in job hunting: public speaking seminars, personal coaching, meetings with companies and head hunters, conferences and corporate presentations, CV on international web MBA platforms, access to RMS alumni network (23.000 alumni: http://www.rms-network.com/).
