A Major Plays in Management Education In Europe

Founded in 1928, Reims Management School (France), EQUIS, AMBA accredited and AACSB eligible, is one of the top-ranked French "Grandes Ecoles", located in the famous Champagne region, 45 minutes from Paris with the TGV East. The School's twin campuses are home to 3600 students of whom 900 are from overseas. RMS has a strong network of 19500 alumni in 90 countries with chapters in 40 countries: www.rms-network.com. The School, known for the quality of its graduates, its 100 international partnerships and its record for innovation in educational programmes, is confirmed as a major player in management education in Europe.

The International MBA programme created in 1972, taught in English, is designed to be a fast track to global business management. In the 2006/2007 class, 65% of the students are from foreign countries and the average age is 30 years old.

The 1st semester (October-March): 14 core courses stress fundamental management concepts (finance, marketing, HR management, strategy, organisational behaviour, international business law & ethics, personal development …).

The 2nd semester (March-June) offers a large range of electives in France or abroad based on a system of free-choice curriculum with 4 optional concentrations: Finance, Marketing, Management, Wine & luxury management. Mandatory for all the students: the Business Plan can be completed by an optional internship. Part of courses are available with our partner universities: Nottingham University (UK), Escuela de Negocios Seville & Madrid (Spain), Tsinghua University (China) Egade Tec de Monterrey (Mexico), Florida International University and Fairleigh Dickinson University (USA).

From this year, the flexible course design allows IMBA participants to attend the second semester on a part-time basis: electives to be taken between March and December.

A career guidance services has been specially designed to assist MBA students in job hunting: public speaking seminars, personal coaching, meetings with companies and head hunters, conferences and corporate presentations, CV on international web MBA platforms, access to RMS alumni network (19 500 alumni: www.rms-network.com)...
