School Profiles
One of the best features of the Rouen MBA is the fact that students from a variety of cultural and work backgrounds are brought together to share their rich mix of experiences. The Rouen Normandy MBA integrates management and leadership knowledge from quality international academic sources with the practical skills and knowledge that participants bring to the programme. This combination challenges the participants to question existing practices and to develop well supported new ways of understanding and carrying out their roles as managers and leaders
The programme's unique structure gives participants skills and training that goes beyond those in most standard MBA programmes.
The seminar, "Making decisions in a world of uncertainty!" is an excellent example. Participants start their seminar at CDG airport Paris, with no previous knowledge of where they are going. Once at the destination the different teams undertake tasks in unknown environments without modern technology. Participants develop leadership and stress management skills by day, and relax in the evening with feedback sessions and general discussions arising around teamwork, leadership, time management and decision making processes.
The Rouen MBA is dedicated to participants expecting to take on new and more challenging managerial responsibilities, whatever the size. It offers a customized programme, allowing participants to put projects into action. This is an important point in the recruitment procedure and candidates will be asked to give details about their professional or entrepreneurial projects. Participants have several choices once in the second part of the MBA:
Being a Rouen MBA participant is a stimulating and pleasurable experience. It is also challenging as the participants draw upon several years of personal business experience from all around the world. Participants are not just immersed in a cross-cultural environment; they are also challenged to adapt their multi-disciplinary experience and see the world of business through an entrepreneurial perspective. The case study material used on the course reflects a major change management phenomenon that needs to be addressed by small, medium, and large organisations across the world. A significant reference is that the Rouen MBA participants become change agents as they tackle these complex, organisational challenges in an international context.
Whether the issue is one of understanding strategic buyer investment or analysing international corporate policy, participants on the Rouen MBA programme will find a learning environment that challenges them to consider issues in a way that they might have never done before.
