Suffolk University Sawyer Business School - Boston
American MBA

The Suffolk MBA is highlighted by a driving focus on experiential learning that will serve to connect students to Boston's world-class industries in Biotech, Finance, Healthcare, and High-Tech/Start-Ups. The 49-credit program is divided into four blocks, sequentially building connections and core business knowledge centered on the four cornerstone courses: Contextualizing: From Boston to the World; Understanding Business Fundamentals; Constructing the Big Picture; and Leading and Implementing Change. Additionally, a required "Immersion" will allow students to travel to world-class industries in the United States or internationally—immersing themselves in new cultures and working on real-life case studies in leading globally-focused corporations. The profoundly experiential curriculum will provide the opportunity for Suffolk MBA students to leverage the Sawyer Business School's location in the heart of downtown Boston, providing the key preparation needed for global leadership opportunities upon graduation.

The Suffolk Executive MBA (EMBA) is a 16-month, Saturday-schedule program designed for mid-career and senior-level executives. Founded in 1975 as the first EMBA degree in New England, the program features a cohort structure promotes professional development in a team-centric and collaborative environment. The EMBA curriculum extends well beyond traditional business. You'll learn how to handle conflict, deal with ethical issues, develop emotional intelligence, analyze leadership styles, build consensus, and solve problems strategically. Your studies will culminate in a capstone project where you'll spend four months designing and researching a topic that applies your coursework to your interests and career goals. You'll graduate from the program ready to leverage your experiences to lead across organizations and borders.
