Today, the Whitman School of Management includes programs in accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, management, marketing, real estate, retail management, and supply chain management. The school was honored with a naming gift from Martin and Lois Whitman in 2003. The Joseph I. Lubin School of Accounting was also dedicated that year. The new 160,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Whitman School of Management building opened in 2005. In any given year, the Whitman School is home to nearly 2,000 graduate and undergraduate students. Graduate education delivered with best in class instruction and experience is at the core of Whitman’s values.  At Whitman, we offer a full-time MBA program that incorporates both the theoretical background and practical experience needed to succeed in  today’s ever-changing global economy.  Whitman also offers functionally specific degrees in accounting, finance, and entrepreneurship.  Distance learning degrees are also offered in accounting, supply chain management, and business administration. Students in the Whitman MBA program at Syracuse University receive a well-rounded education that incorporates both the theoretical background and practical experience needed to succeed in today’s ever-changing global economy. The experiential learning component encourages students to apply classroom learning to business problems, connect with decision makers, and deliver tangible results that add value to sponsoring organizations. Students build an experiential portfolio through internships, consulting, specialized courses, community engagement, and other practical experiences that make them more valuable in the marketplace.

Length of Program: Two academic years

Program Structure: Comprised of 1.5 credit modules, electives, and six credits of experiential learning

Courses conducted in: All areas, with elective concentrations in entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, accounting and supply chain management




Part Time:

Program Structure: Distance Learning with limited on-campus residencies required

Application deadlines: July 1 or November 1

Courses conducted in: All areas with electives offered in marketing, finance, accounting and supply chain management and organizational behavior/development
