School Profiles
Dean, Grenoble GSB
The MBA program of Grenoble Graduate School of Business was designed with the needs of the world’s future top managers in mind, with an objective of giving them the international business and management skills they will require for their business career, both today and tomorrow. The program aims to provide a managerial and strategic perspective, as well as an understanding of some of the more technical and functional issues for those managers to succeed in today’s dynamic global economy. It also gives students the possibility of a specialization in the area of their choice.
There are nine core courses and three specialization modules as well as a foreign language module. At the end of the program, all students are required to undertake a management project. The program runs over 12 months, although a part-time option is also available that takes 24 months.
Internationally minded, dynamic, autonomous and creative people.
The possibility to choose three electives within an area of specializations, the fact that the program is in English in France, the possibility to learn another language and the international and multicultural profile of the group.
Choose an internationally recognized business school. Accreditation — ideally triple accreditation from EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA — is a guarantee of quality and of reputation.
Learning to exploit technology to build a competitive advantage.
We handpick the leading faculty from around the world to ensure that we have the most up-to-date specialists in all areas.
GGSB has launched a real campaign of international expansion by offering our expertise locally. We have set up sites with local partners in countries where there is a strong demand for MBA programs.
This concept of a multi-site school requires the support and ground-knowledge of a local partner. The training courses are delivered on site and through distance learning by teachers from the school to local students who are often company managers. GGSB thus gives exactly the same training as in Grenoble, while benefiting from the logistics and human resources of the local academic partner. At the end of the program the students are awarded the MBA of GGSB.
To continue to adapt to the changing needs of businesses today. For example, the school is launching a new Executive MBA program in the second semester of 2005.
Judith BouvardStudents who successfully complete this program will find careers in a wide range of positions depending on the specialization chosen for their project.
