Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO and SKOLKOVO Women Association announce a fellowship in the amount of 40 000 euro for education at the SKOLKOVO MBA programme in 2012-2013.
SKOLKOVO MBA is 12-month programme aimed to develop entrepreneurial leaders. 30% of its graduates and students are businesswomen who are in demand in the countries with the fast-moving economies, have a solid project background in companies of various industries and start-up experience.
Awarding of the fellowship is timed to coincide with the first-year anniversary of the SKOLKOVO Women Association created with an active support of the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO. Its goal is to unite the SKOLKOVO students, graduates and employees who strive to develop professionally, and to support young and gifted businesswomen.
«Members of the Association are successful and dynamic female-leaders who are looking forward to developing their network in business, culture, and politics and want to help young entrepreneurs in creation and execution of the new ideas and potential projects. Granting of the fellowship is a practical step towards our goal”, says Tatiana Olifirova, member of the SKOLKOVO Women Association Board and one of its founders.
To participate in the contest an applicant should successfully pass the admission process to the SKOLKOVO MBA programme and submit a 5-page essay answering the following questions:
The contest will be held in several stages: application and the SKOLKOVO MBA assessment, nomination of semi-finalists based on the quality of their essays, identification of the winner chosen upon getting the results of the interviews with the members of the Contest Committee. The award ceremony and announcement of the fellowship winner will take place at the SKOLKOVO graduation ball on June 30.

Since 2006 SKOLKOVO conducts short educational Executive Education programmes for top and medium-level managers – open programmes and specialized, integrated modules based on the companies requests. SKOLKOVO launched Executive МВА programme in January 2009, first class of the international Full-time MBA programme - in September 2009.
