Ashridge combines the best of a business school with an innovative organisational consultancy. Ashridge faculty work with thousands of executives from over 850 organisations across the globe each year to develop leadership potential at the highest level.
Ashridge runs a Full time MBA and Executive MBA. In addition, it also provides specialist Masters programmes in Management, Sustainability and Responsibility, Executive Coaching, Organisational Change and a Doctorate in Organisational Change plus a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Coaching and Organisation Development Supervision.
Ashridge is a member of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) and is one of the few business schools in the world to be accredited by all the main executive education bodies:
- AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)
- EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System)
- AMBA (Association of MBAs)
and your world will become a different place.
On the Ashridge MBA you will discover how to find real answers to the real challenges that you will face in business today. Our insights, gained from research and hands-on experience as business owners and leaders, will enable you to see the bigger picture, so you make better decisions, even in unpredictable circumstances.
We don't believe in creating MBA clones. For us, and you, it's all about finding ways to think differently and to feel confident taking brave decisions. So you can make a real difference, both to yourself and your organisation. This MBA is the real thing. The real MBA.
The Ashridge MBA is one programme that offers two different pathways to achieving your MBA: the one year Full time MBA and the two year Executive MBA.
Both pathways result in the same degree. Classes are smaller than average, interactive and international. You benefit from the same faculty offering a teaching and learning philosophy which believes in combining theory and practice and emphasising the application of learning.
You remain in your group throughout the year and are joined in some modules by those on the alternative pathway to ensure that group discussion remains engaging and to maximise the individual networks of each member on the programme.
Both programmes require a minimum of 1800 hours of learning, of which approximately 500-550 will be contact hours.
One year Full time MBA
Full time students are usually seeking to broaden their horizons through a career change, through entrepreneurship starting their own business or to reach a higher, more strategic level in a similar industry.
While all projects and assignments are aimed at embedding and applying the learning, Full Time MBA students use the assignments and projects to develop their abilities in new business areas. The final project can be either a real strategic consultancy project for an Ashridge client organisation (similar to an internship), or an entrepreneurial project for those wanting to start their own business.
Two year Executive MBA
Executive MBA students study part-time, are often employer-sponsored and looking for growth within their existing organisations and sectors.
Executive MBA students undertake their assignments and project within the context of their organisation representing a significant payback to their employer. This programme consists of 1 week blocks of study once every two months and starts in September and March.
