The Copenhagen MBA

As a Copenhagen MBA student, you will participate in a 360 learning experience, honing and developing your personal leadership skills with the purpose of preparing you for future roles in responsible management. Your learning experience

The Copenhagen MBA is a well-balanced programme, designed to prepare you to manage, lead and transform businesses and make a difference. You will learn to master the business essentials through the core courses enabling you to understand, develop and innovate businesses from a holistic perspective. The unique leadership discovery process takes you on a challenging journey, allowing you develop your personal leadership style based on your traits, communication styles and values. Responsible management is at the heart of the programme, teaching you to apply corporate responsibility and business ethics in practice, with plenty of real-life corporate examples available in the region. You will wrap up the year with the integrated strategy project, spending four months working with a real company on a high level strategic issue.

Class size is limited and designed to provide you with ample amounts of peer-to-peer interaction in a collaborative learning environment. You will be part of a very diverse group; over 90% of our students are international, and student backgrounds include business, non-profit, law, healthcare and the arts. 40% of students tend to be women, one of the highest percentages of any MBA programme in the world.

Rankings and Recognitions

In addition to our triple-accreditation, the global student association Net Impact has given the programme a Top 10 Sustainability Rating in 2013, naming it the #1 non-US school for sustainability. The programme is ranked #16 in the world by QS Top MBA and #9 in Europe.

Through its strategic placement at the heart of the Øresund region, Copenhagen is a buzzing business hub and home to a wide variety of companies, offering numerous career opportunities. For the second year in a row, Monocle Magazine 2014 has awarded Copenhagen the winning spot for the world's most livable city. It has also been voted European Green Capital of the Future, reflecting its commitment to green city living. The Copenhagen MBA Alumni Society

The CBS MBA Alumni Society, which you can join upon admission, comprises 1300 MBAs of over 75 different nationalities. As a Copenhagen MBA student, you are invited to attend business and social events to keep you updated on current topics and network with the other CBS MBA alumni. CBS MBA alumni are very involved with the programme as mentors for the current MBA students, advisors, career sparring partners and guest speakers.

The society has a campus-based MBA Alumni Relations Manager who keeps in contact with the network, organises events and collaborates closely with the Careers Team.
