European MBA

Programme highlights:"As a CBS Full-time participant, you will be surrounded by experienced international colleagues, whom you will get to know personally through group work during the year. This diversity and individual attention you will receive from faculty make the programme stand out. Furthermore, Copenhagen is a wonderful city to live in, supporting its green city image by featuring numerous bike lanes, parks, city beaches and a CSR conscious corporate agenda."
Birthe Larsen, CBS Full-time MBA Associate Dean

The Full-time MBA at Copenhagen Business School focuses on Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability. The small class sizes are designed to provide ample amounts of peer-to-peer interaction in a collaborative learning environment. Over 90% of our students are international and come from a variety of backgrounds, including business, non-profit, law, healthcare and the arts. Over 40% of our students are female, one of the highest percentages of any MBA programme in the world. The global student association Net Impact gave the programme a Top 10 Sustainability Rating in 2013, naming it the #1 non-US school for sustainability. The programme is triple accredited by AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS.  The CBS Full-time MBA is a well-balanced programme, designed to prepare you to manage, lead and transform businesses and make a difference. You learn to master the business essentials through the core courses; the Leadership Discovery Process takes you on a journey of developing a personal style of leadership based on your traits, communication styles and values; and the entrepreneurship component develops your capacity for opportunity recognition and creative thinking. The sustainability focus entails a year long core course looking at issues of sustainability, corporate responsibility and business ethics, along with electives for a deeper dive into specific areas. The crown of the programme is the Integrated Strategy Project, where teams of students spend four months working with a real company on a high level strategic issue. Students are required to create a thesis and presentation complete with analysis and recommendations founded in original primary data gathered using the theories, frameworks and processes learned throughout the MBA year.

Copenhagen living and working

Quality of life is high; Copenhagen was voted the most livable city by Monocle Magazine 2014 for the second year in a row. Inhabitants all live within easy access of green spaces and city beaches, and leisure activates such as theatre evenings, music events and art exhibitions are just a short bike ride away. Denmark also has attractive visa options for non-EU students, including a 3-year Greencard Scheme.
