Rethinking the Boundaries of Business School

Request a brochure

The Fuqua School of Business was ranked #6 in The Financial Times EMBA 2012 rankings. Regardless of the program, all Fuqua students learn from the same impressive faculty who study the world's most relevant problems. This knowledge transfers into the classroom, enhances your learning experience and prepares you to make more valuable contributions at work.

The Duke MBA Daytime Program

Your Duke MBA will provide you with the skills, knowledge, and cross-cultural awareness needed to become a valuable collaborative leader, able to manage effectively in global business environments.

As you compare business schools, one of the first differences you'll notice about The Duke MBA is the breadth and depth of our content and the strength of our faculty.

This breadth, built on our world-class multi-disciplinary faculty, offers what we call our Research Advantage - an unparalleled ability to help you go beyond the basics by exposing you to cutting-edge research and renowned business leaders.

As a Duke MBA student, you will develop collaborative leadership and organizational management skills along with a global outlook. You will then dive into a rigorous exploration of the major functional areas in business.

As you continue through the program, you will have the chance to undertake a wide-ranging general management education designed to suit your individual goals; alternatively, you might choose to focus on a particular career path through a variety of interdisciplinary concentrations and certificate opportunities.

The Duke MBA - Cross Continent program

The Duke MBA - Cross Continent program is the first Fuqua program to be redesigned around a global campus network. The Cross Continent Class of 2013 will study at Duke's locations in China, India, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, as well as on Duke's main campus in the United States. Over the course of 16 months, Cross Continent students experience global business by learning in the locations that are changing the business world as we know it.

The Duke MBA - Global Executive Program

The Duke MBA—Global Executive program is designed for applicants with upwards of 12 - 15 years of work experience who are looking to advance their careers without leaving their current job. As the name suggests, the Global Executive program is also global in nature, offering a combination of distance learning and in-person residencies around the world over the course of 15 months.

The program brings together senior executives from diverse locations and industries for focused studies. The program incorporates learning experiences in contrasting economies and integrates opportunities to learn about the social, economic, political, and cultural issues affecting the ways business is conducted around the world. The Global Executive Class of 2013 will study at Duke's international locations in China, India, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, as well as on Duke's main campus in the United States.

The Duke MBA - Weekend Executive

With minimal interruption to their lives and work, professionals in the program spend 20 intense months strengthening core business skills and engaging with faculty and students from a broad range of academic and applied backgrounds. All classes are delivered on Duke's campus. Class sessions are held on Friday and Saturday of alternating weekends, with accommodations provided Friday nights.
