MIP: Where Technology Meets Management

MIP Politecnico di Milano
European MBA

MIP and the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering together make up the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano, which is involved in all the many aspects surrounding research and education in the fields of management, economics and industrial engineering.

The International Full Time MBA program is a fast-track 12 month program starting in September each year and is now offered in Official Partnership with over 30 International and National Companies offering project works, company sponsorships and placement opportunities. The program is redesigned by and for companies to prepare the 'manager of the future' who is capable of solving cross-functional, multidimensional and complex problems that the corporate world of today faces. The program provides practical training through boot camps on latest management topics like entrepreneurship, smart manufacturing, big data & business analytics, 'Made in Italy', sustainability & ethics and more.

The International Part Time MBA is a 20-month program that begins in October each year. Completely taught in English, the program seeks to provide an option for international students looking to combine a formal MBA education, alongside work responsibilities. The opportunity for students to combine their part-time studies while continuing to work will allow for direct application of the knowledge and skills learnt into the working environment. The program is delivered from Friday to Saturday - one weekend a month, in addition to an international full immersion week and a full week for electives. The program provides the special mix of technical and management skills required to develop and lead world-class companies in a vast range of sectors.

International Exchange Programme: MIP has exchange agreements with internationally recognised partner business schools in countries such as China, India, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Russia, Mexico, Brazil, USA and Australia and exchanges range from 1 week to 2 months. MIP also offers students the opportunity to take part in an exchange programme with the MIT, Boston, and the possibility to study in Italy and USA. At the end of the program, students will receive a dual degree: the Master of Business Administration (MBA) from MIP Politecnico di Milano and the Master in Supply Chain Management and Logistics from MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics.

MIP's Career Service and Personal Development. Students in the Full-time MBA have the opportunity to work alongside key stakeholders in important organizations, challenging themselves in real-life business situations and in-company consulting projects. The small class size of the MBA allows personalised attention. In particular, the Career Development Office offer a unique service working with individual candidates and MBA Partner Companies in order to understand the requirements of each and find the most suitable matches for in-company project works and placement. Personal Development activities help students of both the Full Time and Part Time MBA to improve their soft skills, such as interpersonal and leadership skills, cultural sensibility, effective communication, public speaking and negotiation skills and, above all, to help students to reflect on their own personal attitudes and cultural values which influence their behaviour and relationships.
