3 MBA : Aerospace / Management / Consulting

Toulouse Business School was founded in 1903 in response to the needs of local industry. The School, one of the prestigious “Grandes Ecoles de Management”, was delivering a single unique graduate degree to highly selected students. Responding to the needs of the business community, the School pursued a vigorous policy of program development and diversification. Thanks to these efforts, the Toulouse Business School is accredited by EQUIS (2001, 2004 and 2009), AACSB (2003 and 2009) and its MBA provision earned AMBA accreditation (2002, 2005, 2007 and 2012).

Aerospace MBA : a generalist MBA
The Aerospace MBA is a generalist MBA in its approach and a specialized MBA in its application. It is entirely taught in English. There are 2 formulas:
Executive/Part Time: 4 sessions over 2 years
Full Time: 1 year
The program consists in 5 stages and objectives are:
- To develop a flexible and creative learning process
- To broaden knowledge rather than deepen it
- To encourage innovative thinking and open-mindedness
- To enhance managerial & leadership skills
- To emphasise international issues
-Stage 1: Team Building Seminar
-Stage 2: Core Courses: 6 Foundation Courses
-Stage 3: Process Workshops: These 8 process workshops enable participants to work on cross functional management problems.
-Stage 4: Elective Specialization: the program then proposes 4 specialized tracks dealing with aerospace sub-sectors, namely O.E.M, Airlines, Airports, Defense and Space (which consists in 4 specialized process workshops each).
-Stage 5: Application: the program ends with a 4-month individual project: a Corporate Mission (in company project) or a Research Project (at CERMAS, CEntre for Research and Management in Aeronautics and Space).
-In addition, participants have to undertake a multicultural team project on an aerospace industry issue. They also have additional courses for soft skills development.

Management Consulting MBA :
The Management Consulting MBA program is focused on processes with a strong strategic orientation. It deliberately adopts inter- and trans- disciplinary views to prepare participants for the challenge of the complex and continuously changing business world of tomorrow with specific reference to the consultancy environment.

The objectives are :

  • Acquire a solid knowledge of the management consulting sector in France, Europe and world-wide
  • Develop the behavior and attitudes relevant to the specificities of the client-consultant relationship, running a consultancy project and piloting change
  • Build up operational know-how of the procedures, methodologies and techniques used in consultancy
  • Learn about the factors key to creating, managing and developing a successful consultancy business unit or firm and their relevance


Classes :

The core modules : The modules are approached in three stages: overall view of the subjects and current situation, in-depth analysis using case studies, application to management consultancies.
Transversal workshops : This session enables participants to develop their expertise in areas of consultancy considered as key for the future (Management ethics, company responsibility, sustained development
International project, management, Knowledge management and strategic competencies, Business process outsourcing, Mergers & acquisitions,… )
Optional modules : The objective of this session is to develop consultancy expertise applied to a particular sector.
Personal development : The objective here is to develop throughout the course the competencies key to becoming a good consultant: communication, understanding the sociology within a company, public speaking, the client-consultant relationship, project management, team management, working as part of a network / remotely, negotiation / sales / techniques…
The course is part-time and takes place 3 days a month over 18 months. The lectures are organized alternately in Toulouse and Paris, with others taking place abroad (Barcelona, Brussels, Montreal, Bangalore).


Tri-Executive MBA (Paris)

Located in Paris, the Tri-Executive MBA is a generalist part-time MBA, taught in French, open in november 2012. Its rythm is one seminar every 3 weeks (thursday, friday and saturday) and three full-weeks (in Toulouse, Barcelona, Casablanca). The program is developed through 16 months and 600 hours in 35 seminars and 45 hours of e-learning.

  • Process workshops for operational projects
  • Leadership and personal development for managing teams

Admission

Minimum years of work experience : a minimum of 3 years for the Full-Time Programme and of 5 years for the Part-Time/Executive Programme
University degree : A university degree (minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent).
GMAT : Toulouse Business School does not require the GMAT for admission provided that applicants come from recognized universities.
English test : For non-native English speakers, a TOEFL iBT of 90 or a TOEIC score of 800 is required.
