Ranked #4 in its category in the nation by U.S. News, the Foster Hybrid MBA supports working professionals in their leadership journey.
The Foster Hybrid MBA is a 21-month, lockstep MBA program designed for rising to mid-career professionals who want to develop their leadership skills and create opportunities for professional advancement while continuing to work full-time. Collaboration is central to how the program is structured: students progress through the curriculum together as a single cohort, learning alongside the same peers from day one to graduation and forming networks built on genuine connection, trust, and shared experience.
Learning combines required:
The curriculum pairs rigorous core coursework in the first year with the opportunity to pursue electives in the second, equipping students with the critical skills necessary to lead confidently in an ever-evolving AI-driven business landscape. Classroom discussions are enriched by the diverse perspectives of professionals from a wide range of industries and specialties, and the program is intentionally designed to deepen those relationships over time — through assigned study teams, structured cohort-building activities, and dedicated in-person time each quarter. The HMBA culminates with a capstone competition where students apply the core business skills built throughout the program, together with the relationships they've built, to a real, complex business challenge.
The Foster Hybrid MBA delivers a rigorous, fast-paced program built on collaboration — one that forges strong, lasting professional networks and prepares graduates to lead with greater confidence and impact.
The Hybrid MBA is completed over 6 quarters of 10 weeks each. Students progress through the curriculum together as a single cohort of 70-80 students, starting in September and graduating together the following June (with summer off). The curriculum is 60 credits, with 18 credits of electives taken in year two. Students can choose one or two elective specializations while completing the program, including AI & Business Strategy, Building Strategic Organizations, and Product Management. To reinforce collaborative learning, students are assigned a single study team of 5-6 students with whom they complete 40% of course deliverables — building deep working relationships that carry through the full program. All immersion and online class attendance is required.
