The International University of Japan (IUJ) was created in 1982, as Japan graduate-school-only university, by bold leaders with a unique vision representing business, government and world organization. IUJ equips students with interdisciplinary skills in politics, economics and management, as well as historical and cultural perspectives to take on current global issues in their chosen profession. Offering as English-only curriculum to students from 60+ countries taught by a highly qualified faculty. About Graduate School of International Management (GSIM)

With its mission to nurture wise individuals for global business and social leadership, GSIM was founded in 1988 under the guidance and collaboration of the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, USA. GSIM was the first US-style business school in Japan and the first MBA program in Japan to teach its courses only in English. Since then, GSIM has built up an international alumni network spanning over 120 countries and regions, and developed its campus into a diverse, multinational, multicultural, multi-ethnic environment comprised of students from around the world. The IUJ MBA focuses on “Leveraging Emerging Asia for Global Advantage.” It delivers the knowledge, skills and mindset required to gain a competitive advantage in the world’s fastest-growing economies.  The program is designed to give students a wide range of experience and knowledge suitable for their future careers. There are 1-Year Track and 2-Year Track in the MBA program and they have been designed to offer the highest levels of business management skills within the most appropriate timeframe.

Kazuhisa Kamiyama, Japan, Class of 2002

Current Position: CEO, Christie Digital Systems USA

Kazuhisa Kamiyama started his career at Ushio Inc. in 1995 and was dispatched for his MBA studies to IUJ in 2000. After graduating in 2002, he returned to Ushio Inc. and was appointed CFO of Ushio America in 2003. He was named General Manager of Accounting in 2011 and Executive Officer, General Manager of Ushio’s Corporate Headquarters in 2016, overseeing company financials that included investor and bank relations, and Mergers & Acquisitions.  In April 2019, Kamiyama-san became CEO of Christie Digital Systems USA, an Ushio Inc company located in California, USA.
