Tel Aviv
Israel is the Startup Nation, and Tel Aviv is at its heart. Tel Aviv embodies the youthful and creative spirit and energy of Israel.  Urban professionals, start-up entrepreneurs, actors, artists, international business travelers and students mingle together in the city's museums, night-life hot spots, five star restaurants, fashion boutiques and beautiful beaches. Tel Aviv was voted the "3rd Best City" by lonely planet. Overall, Israel produces more start-ups per-capita than China, India, Canada, Japan and the UK. It attracts twice as much venture-capital investment as the US and 30 times more than Europe.  Israel is ranked Europe's 'main technology hub' by the Wall Street Journal.

Tel Aviv University
Consistently ranked in the top 20 in the world in terms of scientific citations and among the top 100 universities internationally, Tel Aviv University (TAU) is Israel's largest and most comprehensive university with over 30,000 students, 9 Faculties and 125 schools and departments across the spectrum of sciences, humanities and the arts.  TAU is home to multiple institutes, forums, and centers such as StarTAU (TAU's Entrepreneurship Center), Net Impact, the Center for Renewable Energy, and the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.  TAU has over 11 international MA programs – all of which enjoy academic and course cooperation with the Global MBA Program.

Ideal for engaged collaborative learners who want to experience new venture creation in its many forms, The Sofaer Global MBA at Tel Aviv University immerses students in all aspects of the entrepreneurial mindset and process. Located in the heart of Israel’s highly developed startup ecosystem, the intensive 1-year program brings together people from different countries and provides them with ample opportunities for hands-on innovation.

The program combines theory and practice in a powerful complementary way. In the classroom, students learn tech-centric topics unique to the startup context such as the Legal Aspects of Entrepreneurship, Term Sheets and Valuation, and the unique Impact Lab. Out in the startup world, students are exposed to the vitality and complexity of everyday competitive ventures – including drones in the agriculture space, artificial intelligence applied to healthcare diagnosis and delivery, and software to transform the early education market, to name just a few. Opportunities are as varied as the students’ own aspirations.

The student body is made up of outstanding individuals from diverse backgrounds. Scientists, engineers, design thinkers, air force personnel, and entrepreneurs who have rung up both wins and losses learn from one another, in structured as well as less formal collaborations. In this unique cauldron of innovation, through studying, teamwork, and multidisciplinary exchange, new ideas take root and grow.

The program is AACSB accredited. Candidates study from October to August, with an optional fall semester in one of over 100 partner universities worldwide, in locations ranging from Japan to Germany.  For those who wish to stay in Israel, the program provides the perfect stepping stone to employment opportunities among funded startups as well as among leading tech companies and venture capital funds. For those seeking to take their start-up savviness back to new jobs and opportunities in their home countries or elsewhere, the program provides international-standard market-ready skills and opens new horizons.
