The AUC School of Business was restructured in 2009, its strategic direction centers around its core strength, its distinct location, and its global presence. Executive MBA:

The AUC Executive MBA (EMBA) is designed for experienced executives engaged in global and local businesses. Leading international faculty will challenge applicants to reflect on their experiences. Live-in weeks at Kellogg School of Management (USA) and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology(China) will immerse them in an international setting that will transform them and their business practices. The Center for Creative Leadership(CCL) will work with them to formulate a personal development journey to bring out the best of their leadership qualities.

Applicants will be immersed in a transformational experience that will expand their global perspective and leadership horizons. The program's modular format maximizes investment in learning, while minimizing the days spent away from home and work.

This is an elite program targeting high caliber professionals. The previous runs featured participants from companies such as: Ericsson, P&G, Al-Futtaim Group, Etisalat Misr, Schlumberger, Sinai White Cement, SODIC, BP, Palm Hills, Orascom Telcom, CIB, Arab African International Bank (AAIB), Jotun Paints, Peugeot, several family owned businesses, and other entities. We have also had several candidates who flew from KSA, Kuwait & Dubai monthly due to program convenience.

The MBA is designed to prepare students who have completed undergraduate work in any academic discipline and intend to pursue a management career. The primary objective of the program is to provide candidates with a general and versatile business acumen, skills and technical competencies, which have become essential for the success of today’s business professional.

While the curriculum meets international standards, it also addresses local and regional business peculiarities. Advanced and elective courses provide more specialized insights in certain business areas. MBA Admission Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any academic discipline with minimum GPA of 2.75
  • GMAT score of 550
  • Minimum acceptable results for English proficiency exam i.e., TOFEL in line with university policies for admission
  • 3+ years of experience

E​MBA Admission Criteria:

  • Minimum eight years of work experience after graduation
  • GMAT is not required.
  • English-language proficiency (the University's graduate admission requirements apply)
  • Letter of commitment from your company allowing you to attend all the module of the program (the full schedule will be available before the start of the program)
  • Admission is also subject to the general University requirements for graduate programs.
