Trinity Business School
Trinity College is one of the oldest and best-known universities in Europe. As the oldest university in Ireland, dating from 1592, Trinity has upheld a reputation of tradition and quality in education. Trinity College was one of the first European universities to offer an MBA programme in 1964. The Trinity MBA has developed continuously since then, and in 1999 it became the first Irish programme to receive international accreditation from the Association of MBAs.

Trinity College is one of the oldest and best-known universities in Europe. Since 1592, it has upheld a reputation of scholarly excellence and research that has ensured it is consistently ranked as Ireland’s #1 University.

In the heart of this campus is Trinity Business School. Formed in 1925, we have decades of experience in innovating with education to meet the dynamics of global business. As a result our alumni span the senior management ranks of industry and commerce globally.

Why Trinity Business School?

Group learning environments will provide you with a more personal encounter with your professors and business professionals. Our highly interactive modules are designed in conjunction with industry partners and allow our students to simulate the world of global business through projects and cases.

The quality of our faculty is one of the main reasons why Trinity Business School is ranked 29th worldwide by Eduniversal. Students work with experienced academics, consultants, board members and executives who have distinguished themselves in their careers.

International Business School. Trinity attracts academics and students from across the world, and the mix of people in Trinity Business School is a vital part of the learning environment. Our typical classes consist of students from 20 nationalities which greatly strengthens the multicultural class dynamic, enriching the peer learning on our programmes.

Career focused. Career development is the central element of all our Masters’ programmes at Trinity Business School and as Ireland’s #1 ranked Business School (Eduniversal 2019) our graduates are in high demand from the 1,000 multinational companies that have located in Ireland. Non-EU students who wish to work in Ireland can avail of a two year graduate work visa to ensure that they get their preferred role.

The Trinity MBA is delivered on a one-year full-time, or two year part-time basis and is designed to develop creative and articulate strategic managers with strong analytical skills. This is achieved by deploying a learning model that mirrors the work place through case studies and projects across all 16 taught modules. In addition, the Trinity MBA focuses strongly on the application of theory through three live-company projects that are phased in during the second half of the programme. As part of these projects the students interact with senior executives in NGOs (Non-governmental organisations), SMEs (small-medium sized enterprises) and MNCs (multinational corporations) and use their coursework to design and deliver solutions to live pertinent business issues.

Blaine Callard, Executive MBA Graduate
Current employment: CEO of Harvey Norman Ireland

"I was concerned that I would not be able to manage the demands of the course around my existing work and life commitments. However the Trinity Part-Time MBA exceeded my expectations in all these regards. The standout for me has been the quality and real-world experience of many of the lecturers, who are masters of their material, and manage to balance the subject matter with real world executive concerns in a highly pragmatic and effective way. The programme is a powerful combination of foundational learning and the latest academic and business thinking, plus the course's timetable is accommodating and fits well with my work schedule.

Both the breadth and the depth of the MBA, has meant a highly challenging and engaging experience. I would highly recommend the Trinity MBA to any executive looking to build on their existing experience and develop a more critical and holistic business perspective."

April Durrett, Current Part-Time MBA Student
Current employment: Design Director at Fjord

"I'm mid-way through my first year in the part-time MBA programme at Trinity Business School. I've been finding a huge amount of immediate relevant value, being full-time employed and a part-time student. I can test and experiment with new theories and ideas in real-time, coming back the next week with new debates and challenges. Not only is this helping me to retain concepts and find relevance in my real life, it's allowing me to build on it, challenge it, and also begin to craft my own point of view. It's challenging, and my days are full, but I personally wouldn't want to learn any other way.

I've been especially engaged with Amanda Shantz's Strategic Human Resource Management class. The energy and up-to-the-minute insights and case studies she brings to her lectures really show that Trinity is at the forefront of issues and concepts confronting businesses today. My colleagues and I are literally sitting at the edges of our seats trying to get our thoughts in on the discussion because these topics personally matter and are relevant to us and our businesses."
