Established in 1993, University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) was the first international and Australian university in the UAE, and is now part of a global brand that has campuses in Australia, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
With a 26-year track record, the University offers internationally-recognised degrees that are accredited by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA), Australia’s independent national quality assurance and regulatory agency for higher education, the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the UAE Ministry of Education – Higher Education Affairs, and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).

Full-time or part-time, depending upon the number of subjects taken per semester. Full-time study load for postgraduate programs is defined as two (2) or more subjects per semester where each subject requires one evening of attendance per week.

Length of Course: Normally students would study for 3 semesters each year and take 2 subjects per semester. Based on this, the normal duration for the MBA is two years.
Admissions
University degree: A recognised Bachelors Degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
GMAT: Admission is based on performance in undergraduate studies and required work experience. GMAT is not typically a requirement.
English language requirements: TOEFL (88 – internet based, 231 – computer based, 575 – paper based) or IELTS 6.5 (overall).
