The Vanderbilt MBA curriculum features career-focused specializations, immersion learning and a seven-week modular calendar that allows students to make significant progress in their preferred areas of study before beginning summer internships by taking 6 elective courses the first year in addition to core courses. Our two-year Leadership Development Program in conjunction with the MBA uses tools to produce personalized development for each student focusing on the unique competencies that set high-potential leaders apart with students receiving individualized coaching from Executive Coaches, akin to the level of leadership training offered at Fortune 500 companies, an incredible value added. We offer a personal approach to career management, ensuring that students receive the individual attention from their personal career coach, resources and guidance required to achieve their career goals.
Offering classes, immersion activities, career treks and independent study opportunities, you can work with companies to consult, write business plans, develop strategies, and hone leadership skills. Projects have included expansion analysis, strategic plans for a new product launch, marketing strategy, business concept planning for investment and industry research. There are many international trip and exchange study options as well as career treks to other regions of the US.
The finance concentration of the MBA is STEM designated.
