Zhejiang University (ZJU)
ZJU is one of China’s leading higher education institutions, as well as one of its oldest, tracing its roots back to 1897 and the founding of the Qiushi Academy.

Our newly founded business school has accelerated ZJU global initiatives worldwide and is set to become a leading global business school in the era of the new economy. ZIBS is headquartered in the Yangtze River Delta, a hub of innovation and one of the most dynamic regions globally. Our vision is to become a leading global ecosystem with business education as one of its core pillars, with a particular focus on new technologies, new economy and new finance.
By cooperating with the Academy of Internet Finance and the Institute of China Studies, ZIBS currently offers an International Master of Business Administration (iMBA) program with two formats: part-time and full-time, and the China Business track within the Master of China Studies, designed specifically for international students. Our Executive Education Center provides programs across a wide range of topics, both for open enrollment and customized corporate needs.

Ant Financial is a technology company that brings inclusive financial services to the world. Officially founded in October 2014, Ant Financial originated from Alipay, founded in 2004. With the mission to "bring the world equal opportunities", Ant Financial is dedicated to creating an open, shared credit system and financial services platform through technology innovations, and to provide consumers and small businesses with safe and convenient inclusive financial services globally. As a strategic supporter of the iMBA Program at ZIBS, Ant Financial provides access to expertise and corporate executives who help ensure the relevance of the program to the needs of the business community and unique insights about developments in technology which are transforming the way we do business globally. Through this partnership, students enrolled on the full-time iMBA format also have the opportunity to engage in an individual professional project as a formal part of the program, further deepening their professional experience.
To develop senior managers and future leaders with global vision, who are socially responsible, innovative and entrepreneurial. The program ensures that students master solid foundational theories, effective leadership, interdisciplinary vision and cross-cultural business skills, all of which prepare them to face the challenges of an increasingly complex business environment.
Format and Duration
Two formats of the iMBA are available: • The part-time program is 2.5-years, with intensive, 3-day learning sessions offered every other week (Friday to Sunday). • The full-time program may be completed in 2 years, including an individual in-company project or internship. The principal teaching location for the iMBA is the ZJU International Campus in Haining.
Cooperating with top universities outside of China, the program offers global classroom opportunities and allows students to take short courses or lectures overseas to develop their ability to analyze business issues and challenges from an international perspective.
International Student Environment
The iMBA Program provides a unique environment for students to learn from each other. .Through both in-class and after-class activities, students have the opportunity to develop their cross-cultural communication skills, establish their own international contacts and explore potential cooperation opportunities.
Participants in the full-time iMBA format are required to complete either an in-company consulting project or an internship. This period of the program lasts 6-12 months, depending on the nature of the engagement. It is an outstanding opportunity for participants to apply their MBA learnings to real situations, achieving a high degree of integration between learning and practice.
Graduates of the iMBA program will obtain the diploma of Master of Business Administration of Zhejiang University.
Students are required to attend and successfully complete all training sessions, meeting individual course requirements. A Master’s Thesis is also required. Students on the iMBA program must complete a total of 45 credits to graduate.
The part-time iMBA format provides English training opportunities to help its students better master the content of the program, express their ideas and exchange views in English. The full-time iMBA format provides Chinese training opportunities to help students take full advantage of their China experience and opportunities.

• No requirement for Chinese language

29th May 2020 is the final date for submitting the application.
The ZIBS iMBA Admissions Office will review all information provided and will short-list applicants selected for interviews. All candidates admitted to the program will have been interviewed. Interviews may be conducted face-to-face or via video conference.
Offer Letter and Visa
Admission decisions will be communicated no later than 31th July 2020. Letters of admission will include relevant visa materials and instructions.
Entering students will register at the beginning of September 2020, with the specific time indicated in the admission letter.
