Industrial visits and guest speaker sessions are vital components of the practical education of EU Business School’s students. As a part of the EU MBA programme, our students went on an industrial visit to Garmin Iberia. This meant behind-the-scenes insights with Managing Director Salvador Alcover.

Founded in 1989 and named for the two men who made it happen, Gary Burrell and Min Kao, Garmin is one of the top five wearable tech companies in the world. This forward-thinking company develops GPS technologies for a wide range of activities around the world. Activities not limited to sport, automotive, aviation, and maritime sectors. They also count the US army as their first customer. With operations in countries all over the world, such as the UK, US and Taiwan, Garmin are interested in continual growth. Our students were lucky enough to get a foot in at the American multinationals’ Barcelona office.
