On 31 March 2017, the EU Careers Services Department hosted the annual EU Career Fair at the Crowne Plaza Barcelona – Fira Center. The event proved to be an even bigger success than last year, with students arriving early and in large numbers. In fact, several companies have already contacted candidates for follow-up interviews and internship offers. Hotel Arts Barcelona, for example, has offered an internship to five EU students.

Organised by Head of Business Development Anna Wlodek and Careers Advisor Laurie Le Dentu, EU welcomed a number of companies. These included: Accenture, Babel Profiles, Bloomberg, Criteo, Hotel Arts, Nice People At Work, PageGroup, PTC, TransPerfect, TravelClick, and Zurich Insurance.

An informal networking session, with coffee and snacks, enabled students and recruiters to meet and connect in a relaxed way.

The EU Careers Fair aims not only to help connect students and companies but to also provide students with helpful tips on getting their careers on track.
