Portland State University
Portland, United States of America
The Portland State University Evening MBA is a part-time, in-person program designed for working professionals who want to accelerate their careers without stepping away from employment.
Students move through the 21-month program with a collaborative cohort, taking evening classes at the Karl Miller Center in downtown Portland. The schedule allows students to apply new skills and perspectives directly to their current work while learning from classmates who bring experience from a variety of industries and professional backgrounds.
The curriculum develops broad expertise in strategy, finance, accounting, marketing, operations, analytics, innovation, and organizational leadership. Experiential learning is central to the program. Students work in teams, engage with Portland’s business community, and complete a consulting capstone addressing a meaningful challenge for a real organization. Electives and optional graduate certificates allow students to align the MBA with their career goals and areas of interest.
The Evening MBA is best suited for professionals who have already achieved important career milestones and are preparing for greater leadership responsibility, advancement within their field, or a strategic career transition. Because it is a part-time program, the Evening MBA is not eligible for F-1 student visa sponsorship.
