The UAlberta MBA is a 20-month, full-time program that is rigorous, inspiring, focused, and transformational. The UAlberta MBA provides students with the opportunity to complete key business fundamental courses and a mix of elective courses, allowing you to tailor your program to fit your interests and career goals. We offer five Career Tracks:
The Career Management Center has a unique career coaching model with a dedicated career coach supporting each student throughout the program. We will take you through the critical elements of the career planning process and self-awareness enlightenment to help you discover the core aspects of your personality, strengths and components that make up your unique brand in order for you to achieve your career goals.
The UAlberta MBA attracts strong, mature students who strengthen the learning environment through their rich and diverse backgrounds. Total enrolment in the current study body is roughly 500 students (includes full-time, part-time, Executive MBA and Online MBA students). There are approximately 60 full-time students accepted into the program each year.
Applicants who demonstrate strong leadership qualities, unique backgrounds, the drive and resilience to succeed in academic and professional pursuits, and a high level of self-awareness are prime candidates for the Alberta MBA. No formula is used in admission decision-making. Rather, each candidate is evaluated individually to assess overall compatibility between the applicant and program.
