In a complex and rapidly changing world, institutions and companies need to adapt and respond to the new digital challenges in order to survive and thrive. We constantly innovate our MBA program to ensure we equip our participants to become leaders who are ready and able to play an important role in the shaping of our society.
The MBA program is at the center of IMD’s network and ecosystem comprising 50 faculty, over one hundred coaches and 9,000 executive alumni annually. We construct specific opportunities for our 90 participants to explore avenues and build customized supporting networks to enable them to choose the right path.
Our Discovery Expedition takes them to hubs where our future is being created: Silicon Valley, Shenzhen and Dublin. Our Digital Lab provides hands-on experience of coding, app design, and agile development. Similarly, in our Innovation Lab, participants gain first-hand experience of human-centered design and rapid prototyping within a med-tech, start-up and design ecosystem. In both cases they go from problem to market tested solution in one week.
With our small class size we can be very personalized in our approach and offer one-to-one coaching for both personal and career development. Our Career Services stream is also integrated into the actual curriculum, to develop the skills needed across all aspects of securing a highly competitive job and building a long-term career strategy. Recruiters hire for leadership potential and we have the advantage of being able to offer tailored solutions to companies so that they connect with the right mix of participants for the roles they want to fill.
Our MBAs themselves are on average 31 years old, represent over 40 nationalities and come from every industry imaginable. We look for high achievers with an international outlook who can work together, learn from each other and go on to be the best ambassadors for our program and society.
